World CSR Day 2022

Zimbabwe once again joins the rest of the World to celebrate World CSR Day which is commemorated annually on the 18th of February. In this regard CSR Network Zimbabwe which is the country’s premier business association for corporate social responsibility is taking a lead to organize various activities during this month ahead of the international CSR day.

The main objective to celebrate World CSR Day is to provide a common platform for individuals, corporates, government agencies, NGOs, civil society, academics and any other groups with an interest in Corporate Social Responsibility to share and exchange ideas on CSR Best Practices.

The celebrations are also meant to encourage various stakeholders to spread the message of CSR to other stakeholders in the quest to promote and empower communities.

In light of the devastating effects of the Covid- 19 pandemic, CSR Network Zimbabwe will be hosting a Fundraising Luncheon on the 18th of February at Crown Plaza Hotel.

This Fundraising Luncheon seeks to raise funds through collaborations with various stakeholders to cater for various needs of vulnerable groups across the country. It takes responsible corporates to reach out to these groups such as the elderly who are totally depended to offer a hand which will go a long way in their lives.

  • Sanitary Pads to be handed over to Sanitary Aid Zimbabwe for distribution across Zimbabwe

  • 4 Tires for the official home vehicle
  • Chicks and stock feed for projects
  • Perimeter Wall Repairs for security (Alpha Cottages Children’s’ Home)
  • Groceries
  • Cleaning Detergents
  • Mosquito Nets
  • Adult Diapers (Size Small)
  • PPE (Sanitizers, Gloves, Masks)
  • Entertainment Sets (TV Radio)
