8th Zimbabwe National Responsible Business and ESG Leadership Forum ends on a High Note

8th Zimbabwe National Responsible Business and ESG Leadership Forum ends on a High Note with participants challenging the ESG Network Zimbabwe to scale up activities to raise more ESG awareness in the Country.

The forum which was held in Vic Falls  from 14 August to 16 August   was a resounding success bringing together over 100 delegates from 31 companies coming from 11 different sectors consisting of  business leaders, investors, policymakers, ESG experts, and industry representatives.

The objective was to bring business leaders, investors, policymakers and ESG Experts to share knowledge best practices and innovative solutions for integrating ESG considerations into business strategy and operations with a focus on the African context.

Under the theme Accelerating Sustainable Growth in Zimbabwe, the two day program featured an impressive roster of keynote speakers and panel discussions tackling the pressing issues around Environment, social and Governance. All delegates heard from an impressive lineup of keynote speakers including Takura Mudekunye from Old Mutual, Grace Silape- Maksure Insuarance Brokers, Doris Kumbawa- Ethics 360, Remigio Nenzou – Allied Timbers, Blessing Muchemwa- UNDP, Takunda Madanha- NRZ, Lyndon Nkomo- ZSE, Brilliant Shumba- ZB, Cuthbert Munjoma- IPEC, Fidelia Gandiya-Econet, Edmund Makona- Air Zimbabwe, Walter Mwasaa from CARE and Man’arai Ndovorwi from ZERA.  

The success of the ESG Leadership Forum 2024 is also a testament to the power of public and private collaboration.
