CSRNZ will be hosting conferences on Responsible Business and Devolution in Midlands and the South East Region on August 5 and 19 respectively. The conferences will run on the sidelines of the 2022 Responsible Business and CSR awards.
CSR Network Zimbabwe Executive Director said the Responsible Business and Devolution Conferences are the route through which companies take responsibility for their actions and encourage positive impact through their CSR activities to achieve a sound Devolution Agenda.
These regional conferences will also be a platform to share strategies and solutions that tackle sustainability and vulnerable communities’ challenges.
The conferences will discuss how the private sector can be a major contributor towards achieving vision 2030 complimenting government efforts. While profit generation remains the primary function of a business, the impact of business on culture, society and the environment has been the subject of intense scrutiny in contemporary business policy and practice.
Topics to be discussed are:
- The role of Responsible Corporates in advancing the Devolution Agenda
- Creating Shared Values towards community empowerment
- How to unlock value for corporates towards aligning their interest to invest more in CSR
Company board members, Development partners, NGOs, CEOs, CSR Directors, Sustainability Directors, Economists, Finance Directors, Government, Environmental Officers/Directors, Marketing Managers, Public Relations Managers, Human Resources Managers, CSR Officers are expected to attend the conference.
