HARARE – The Environment Social & Governance Network Zimbabwe (ESGNZ) board led by board Chair Ms Lucy Marowa paid a courtesy call on Industry & Commerce Minister Hon Sithembiso GG Nyoni to appraise her on the mandate of the organisation as well as to find common areas of collaboration.
Speaking after the meeting ESGNZ Executive Director said he was elated to meet the minister who is an advocate and champion of economic development given her contribution and support to private sector growth particularly in the SMEs sector.
The meeting discussed several issues to do with sustainability and ESG as well as to find ways to upscale the operations of this important sector in Zimbabwe so that it can contribute to the socio-economic development of the country in line with NDS1 and Vision 2030.
