Dr Solomon Matsa to headline the Midlands CSR Awards & Devolution Conference

Astute and esteemed businessman Dr Solomon Matsa is expected to deliver a keynote presentation at the forthcoming Responsible Business and Devolution Conference and CSR Awards set for August 5 in Gweru. The conference will discuss how the private sector can be a major contributor towards achieving vision 2030 complimenting government efforts.

CSR Network Director, Willard Razawo said this Conference is the route through which companies take responsibility for their actions and encourage positive impact through their CSR activities to achieve a sound Devolution Agenda.

He added that this regional conference is also a platform to share strategies and solutions that tackle sustainability and vulnerable communities’ challenges.

Topics to be discussed will include:

  • The role of Responsible Corporates in advancing the Devolution Agenda
  • Creating Shared Values towards community empowerment
  • How to unlock value for corporates towards aligning their interest to invest more in CSR

This one-day conference will run on the side lines of the responsible business and CSR Awards. The

awards acknowledge CSR and sustainability efforts and contributions made by individuals, the private

and public sectors towards community development in Zimbabwe. Winners are mobilized from the

diverse sectors and industries which have created positive impact towards Zimbabwe’s sustainable development agenda and the promotion of government vision 2030.
