The 6th Annual ESG Autumn School, hosted by ESG Network Zimbabwe from 13–16 May 2026 at Tamarind Resort in Kariba, successfully brought together sustainability professionals, corporate leaders, academics, policymakers, and ESG practitioners for an intensive sustainability and ESG masterclass focused on shaping the future of responsible business.
Held under the theme “Shaping the Future of Responsible Business Through ESG Education,” the Autumn School provided a dedicated platform for strengthening ESG knowledge, sustainability leadership, and practical implementation skills in response to the growing importance of environmental, social, and governance considerations across industries.
Throughout the four-day programme, participants engaged in expert-led masterclasses, discussions, and collaborative learning sessions covering key ESG topics including ESG governance and leadership, climate risk and environmental sustainability, ESG reporting and disclosure, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and operationalising ESG within organisations.
The Autumn School highlighted the increasing demand for structured ESG education and capacity building in Zimbabwe and across Africa as organisations seek to integrate sustainability principles into strategic decision-making, governance frameworks, and long-term value creation.
