VICTORIA FALLS – The 7th Annual Zimbabwe National ESG and Responsible Business Summit which was held in the resort city of Victoria Falls from 7-9 June was a huge success judging by the number of companies and participants who attended this annual sustainability event.
Held under the theme: – A Great Reset for ESG Integration and The Evolution of the Sustainability Disclosure landscape in Zimbabwe, the summit drew over 21 companies from the various sectors of the economy to discuss and share experiences pertaining to Sustainability and Social Responsibility.
The 3-day event was also graced by reputed speakers from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, Securities Commission of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission among others.
Speaking on the sidelines of the summit, ESG Network Zimbabwe Executive Director, Willard Razawo challenged participants not to take sustainability issues as a choice; but as an imperative, adding that the decisions we make today will determine the world we leave behind for future generations.
