Peelchart investment is a small business which produces peanut butter and is operating in Mutare. It was established in 2014.
Although many SMEs closed down due to economic challenges as well as unavailability of raw materials in Mutare, Peelcharts managed to sail through the challenges.
It was recently nominated as a first runner up for the Entrepreneurial Resilience award in one of the country’s top business awards.
Depite it being an SME, Peelchart has invested in Corporate Social Responsibility by empowering local communities through donations and sport and recreation.
Peelchart investments has been supporting social soccer by handing over soccer jerseys. One of the beneficiaries of the organization amongst others is Chipolopolo Football club.
The organization also donates food stuffs like cooking oil, peanut butter to social football clubs.
The director of the firm was featured in newspaper articles where he expressed the challenges they face as a small firm like importing groundnuts from Malawi which is expensive.
