CSR Network Zimbabwe (CSRNZ) & The Environmental Management Agency (EMA) Responsible Business & Environmental Stewardship Awards are the Zimbabwe’s leading Awards celebrating leadership in sustainable business. It’s more than acknowledging excellent sustainability strategies but the Responsible Business Awards recognise those that are truly having an impact on business, society and the environment – delivering a new blueprint for business in the 21st Century.

Main Categories
Environmental Stewardship Award Category
Environmental Stewardship Awards are presented annually to recognize outstanding achievements by individuals, businesses, organizations, educational institutions, and agencies for successful environmental projects and conservation measures. In short, they recognize and honour organizations committed to environ-mental management and dedication to the value of clean. Most of the winners in this category has made great efforts to conserve the environment and to protect it in their day to day running of their businesses.
Efforts in recycling waste, wildlife conservervation among them are some of the aspects looked at awarding these companies.
Business Transformation Award
Business must change… Our planet is on the brink of irreversible collapse and increasingly society expect companies to lead and address these social and environmental challenges. This award will reward companies that have embraced innovative opportunities to develop a sustainable business model for the future.
Sustainability Innovation Award
The award will go out to companies that have developed innovation in a sustainability initiative or project that has been enabled by technology. This award will celebrate innovation which puts sustainability at the heart of a project. Innovation means any environmental, social or financial consideration has been generated from research into commercialisation.
SDG Impact Award
This award will recognise a company initiative or campaign which is best aligning impact to the SDGs and sets industry-leading standards as a company. Entries must demonstrate measurable impact on the Global Goals.
Social Impact Award
This award rewards how companies can be a force for good on social impact. This award will go to a project or initiative that has best demonstrated measurable impact positive change through deploying technology or innovation. Entries will be considered over a 2-to-5-year timescale, but activity during 2020-21 must be demonstrated.
Partnership of The Year
This award will recognise innovative partnerships that are transforming the operations and outputs of either a business and/or industry towards higher levels of environmental or social responsibility.
Honouree Award
The Award goes to an individual, or individuals, that has dedicated their career to delivering change and has a track record of success. The Responsible Business Honouree has been and continues to be a catalyst for change within the industry. The winner will have been a catalyst for real, proven change and a widely recognised positive social or environmental impact, preferably beyond the boundaries of one particular industry.
