The CSR Network Zimbabwe annual winter school which was held in the resort town of Kariba was a huge success with participants saying it was worthwhile winter retreat. The school saw more than 40 participants drawn from different organisations across Zimbabwe.
Notable companies that did send participants to the CSR Level 1 Certification winter school included, Delta, POTRAZ, Lafarge Cement, NSSA, City Parking, Nyaradzo Group, Netone, KDV Bedding, FC Platinum Holdings, Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company, Yarnfield, Zambezi Coal & Gas Mine from Hwange, National Blood Services Zimbabwe, CBZ Bank among others.
The companies were represented at different levels with some being represented by their top management and members of their board of directors.
The participants went through an intensive three-day program where they were taught different subjects of Corporate Social Responsibility (Investment).
